China Missions Trip

WHEN
Jul 11 2019 - Aug 1 2019
WHERE
Tianjin, CN
Interns participating in the China Mission trip will receive training on the biblical view of disability and a theology of suffering through our Beyond Suffering Curriculum (BYS), and participate in practical application in serving people affected by disability.

Interns will serve at Shepherds Field Children’s Village (SFCV) which is a home for orphans with disabilities (teens and young adults) that are not eligible for adoption due to their age.  They will be offering love and support, as well as observe the different educational and medical services offered at the orphanage.. They will visit Hope Ranch and learn about hippotherapy and observe the staff as they work with people affected by disability. There is also a possibility for shadowing opportunities in various therapy fields.

All interns are granted opportunity to use their gifts and skill sets to serve their team and people affected by disability with whom they come into contact. Whether you are a special education, ministry, or therapy major, or you are a person with great organizational skills, come ready to unite as one team, bringing the hope only God can provide to the marginalized of society.
